Yes, after much awaiting it happened! the Launch was held with huge crowds and celebrations all afternoon long.
With the launch of the new student lounge students now have something to look forward to in COM1,computing Students’ home away from home!!

Computing Club presents Exam Welfare Pack

Dear students,
In conjuction with all the fablous things happening on April 17th,
Computing Club is also pleased to inform you that we will be giving out
Exam Welfare packs as well outside Student Lounge, COM1-02-45.
The first 200 people to turn up at the Lounge, from 1pm onwards, will be
handed a free Welfare pack containing items such as stationary, snacks and
water. Do bring your Matric Card for identification purposes.

NUS School of Computing’s 10th Anniversary

Hey Fellow SoCians!!Greetings to one and all. Its been a good year and the Computing Faculty has done very well as always! 
This year is even more special as we ring in our 10th Anniversary Celebrations!! A decade of excellence of computing - people what more do we need!!!
All of you are key attributes to SoC’s success story and on behalf of the school I take this oppourtinity to thank each and every one of you. And in order to celebrate together, the Computing Club along with SoC’s corporate Comm is proud to bring you a series of events in celebration of these 10 years of glory - which will be sparked off by the inaugration ceremony on the 17th of April.
Date : 17th April, 2008
Time: 12.30pm
Venue: SR1 and Computing Club Student Lounge
The ceremony of the unvieling of the new Computing Club Student Lounge will also take place, along with the sparking off of the 10th Anniversary celebration. There will be a strong staff and admin participation, and we are hoping you guys can come in and add color to the event.
So do look out for all the funn and activities brought to you none other than the COMPUTING CLUB!

Coming Soon: The Students’ Lounge!

The SoC Student Lounge is one of the joint efforts made by the school and the 10th Management Committee for the welfare of SoCians’. The project is also greatly symbolic as it marks the start of SoC’s 10th Anniversary celebrations. It is our goal is create the go-to place for SoCians to kick back and relax. The lounge will be a place for SoCians to interact with each other and get to know more people. It located at 2-45 (ex-Computing Club Office) and it will be exclusive to SoCians.
